Henri Matisse is known for his paper collages and use of bright, bold colors. In the Sinuous Shapes watercolor painting, we’re taking inspiration from his gouache on paper collage work, “The Sheaf”. Celebrate unbridled creativity by painting loopy, curvy, playful shapes in this art project that makes a fabulous watercolor background. Matisse wanted his artwork to be joyful so let’s follow suit!
