You can also add videos to a "Watch Next" list or mark them as completed to track your progress.

Monthly Digital Packs & The ARTchive

On the 1st of each month at 10 AM Central, we release a curated bundle of 3 digital projects by Sarah Cray. These lessons are geared toward the advanced beginner and intermediate watercolorist.

At 8 PM Central on the last day of the month, that pack moves into the ARTchive — our archive of past projects.

  • There is no subscription required. Visit the site to purchase each month you want.
  • The ARTchive opens twice yearly so you can purchase past projects individually.
  • "Evergreen" projects are always available under Digital Evergreen Products.

I'm missing videos from an older purchase. Where are they?

Tutorials from before mid-2024 were moved to our YouTube channel as we transitioned our video platform. Search for the project name + "Let's Make Art" and you should find it there.

If you still can't locate a specific video, email us at [email protected] and we'll help track it down.

Is there free content I can access?

Absolutely! We have plenty of free ways to start painting:

  • Watercolor Wednesdays — Sarah Cray posts a brand new tutorial every Wednesday at 10 AM Central on our YouTube channel.
  • Live Paint Alongs — Join us on the last Tuesday of each month for a live painting event on YouTube.
  • Beginner Series — Never painted before? Start with our free Beginner Watercolor Series under Resources.
  • Outline Library — Free printable PDF outlines that coordinate with our YouTube tutorials. Log in and visit Outlines under Resources.

Check the Monthly Release Schedule to see every release and event on the calendar.

What is your return policy?

Digital products are nonrefundable due to the nature of downloadable content.

Physical products — we don't offer standard returns, but if you're unhappy with a purchase, please reach out to [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.

Do you still sell individual project kits or monthly boxes?

Our business has shifted to focus on high-quality digital education. We no longer offer monthly subscription boxes or individual kits of supplies.

We do periodically release special courses that include physical boxes with supplies — check our Monthly Release Schedule or subscribe to our email list for pre-order announcements.

Outlines and video tutorials for older projects are still accessible in the Outline Library, and we offer a curated selection of recommended art supplies in the Shop.

Where can I buy art supplies?

We carry a curated selection of art supplies in our shop — the same tools Sarah uses and recommends. Our primary focus right now is producing great education and pointing you to the supplies that work best for each project.

Physical boxes with supplies are offered periodically alongside special course releases. Subscribe to our email list at the bottom of the page to be the first to know about pre-orders.

What are Dandelion Paints?

Dandelion Paint Co is our own brand of dye-based liquid watercolor — vibrant, beautiful, and available exclusively at Let's Make Art. They're offered intermittently, so keep an eye on the shop.

Care & Safety

  • Store in a cool location away from direct sunlight (not lightfast). Life expectancy: 1–1.5 years.
  • Non-toxic, conforms to ASTM D-4236. Keep away from eyes.
  • Clean up with soap and water. May stain certain surfaces or fabrics — we recommend using a butcher tray, newspaper, or an apron while painting.

What is Let's Make Art Matter?

Art Matter is our community program for sending painted pick-me-ups to people going through hard times. Know someone who could use a little extra love? Nominate them through the form on our Let's Make Art Matter page, found under Resources.

We also host a live Art Matter Paint Along on the last Tuesday of each month.

What's a Llama?

We lovingly call our watercolor community "llamas" — when we started Let's Make Art, we had folders on our computers labeled LMA. Say "LMA" out loud fast and it sounds like "llama." We started referring to each other as llamas and it stuck!

To stay on top of new releases, pre-orders, and community events, subscribe to our email list at the bottom of any page. We're so happy you're here!
